Homes.com Connect wants to make sure that you are able to have quick access to all the files that you need within your Dashboard so that no matter where you log in, you can use them right away.
To do this, go to the Website Application's Advanced Settings and select Document Library:
Within the Document Library, the first page that you come to is all your existing documents with tabs that allow you to upload easily:
To upload photos, PDFs, and other files that you might need, select the Upload Tab at the top left of the library:
Before adding a document select the Show Options menu to expand the optional fields. First, give your document a name. Second, select a resize type (this is only applicable if you are uploading an image). Finally, select a folder to upload the document to. If the desired folder is not available you can add the folder.
*Note: Allowed Extensions: .TIF, .TIFF, .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, .BMP, .PNG, .EPS, .SWF, .WAV, .MP3, .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .XLSX, .PPT, .PPTX, .PPS, .PPSX, .ZIP, .RAR, .TXT, .CSV
The maximum size of files that may be uploaded is 5120 KB.
Once uploaded, you can then use the file in any of the editors within the dashboard as well as have access to a custom URL for your file. To access the URL for your file, just select the blue file name:
To replace an document with a newer version (Example: Updating an office team photo) you can override the document within the Document Library.
First you will find the document within the Document Library that you wish to replace and click on the name.
You will then copy the name of the document found at the end of the URL. In this example the name is "Homes".
On your computer, rename the new document to match the name you copied. In our example you would rename the document "Homes".
Back in the Document Library, click on upload and find the new document on your computer. Once the document is selected, check the box next to Overwrite Existing File, then click Upload File.
Now if you find the document name in the Document Library and click on it, the new photo will display. Anywhere on your website that had the old document will be automatically replaced with the new document.
