Important notices as well as SMS best practices are found below.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE - ACTION REQUIRED

 

As part of the migration to the new lead alert system, all text message lead notifications will be suspended after June 24th until completion of the new enrollment process, even if you are currently subscribed to text message lead alerts.

SMS Lead Alert Update

We have updated our lead alert system. If you are already enrolled in Homes.com text alerts, you will receive an opt-in verification text. Please reply with “YES” to continue receiving text alerts on your phone.

Example: To complete SMS notification signup, please reply with “YES”. Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe, or reply “HELP” for additional information.

To enroll for the first time to receive text alerts, log into your Homes.com profile. The Text Message option is located in the Edit Profile section.

To ensure messaging compliance, you will also receive confirmation notices every 18 months to opt-in to continue receiving messages from Homes.com. It is important that you follow those instructions to avoid being removed from text alerts for your leads.

Additonal SMS Information

Lead notifications will be sent from: (850) 220-0227

We encourage you to add this number as a contact in your phone. This way you will always know where the message is coming from and will not miss any lead notifications.

Initial Opt-In

Prior to sending first lead notification, you will receive a SMS message that will include the following:

Please confirm consent of SMS notification signup, please reply with “YES”. Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe, or reply “HELP” for additional information.

30 Day Opt-Out Notification

We are required to include opt-out information in our messages, once every 30 days.
The following message will be included at the bottom of a lead notification message. Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe.

Reauthorization - 18 Months

Eighteen months after your initial opt-in, you will recieve a message to reconfirm consent of receiving SMS messages.
Example: SMS Notification Reconfirmation
In order to continue receiving SMS notifications, please confirm enrollment by replying with “YES”. Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe, or reply “HELP” for additional information.

SMS Keywords

The Lead Notification system is set up to recognize the keywords listed below.
An explanation for the keywords is included beneath each section.

ARRET, CANCEL, END, OPT-OUT, OPTOUT, QUIT, REMOVE, STOP, TD, or UNSUBSCRIBE

Any of these “STOP” keyword replies will prevent you from receiving any new messages from the Lead Notification number.
After sending one of the “STOP” keywords listed above, you will receive the following message: “You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply “START” to resubscribe.”

START, YES , UNSTOP, OPT-IN, or OPTIN

Any of these “START” keyword replies will opt you back in to receiving new messages from the Lead Notification number.
After sending one of the “START” keywords listed above, you will receive the following message: “You have successfully been re-subscribed to messages from this number. Reply “HELP” for help. Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply.”

HELP and INFO

Any of these “HELP” keywords will trigger a text message with basic helpful information, such as how to opt-out.
Please note that we do filter common phrases associated to spam which may result in some SMS messages not being received.
